Friday, December 21, 2007two weeks oldfrankly, i can't believe that milo is two weeks old today. the days are passing by so quickly. i feel as if i just blinked and all of the sudden, here we are. last saturday, we had a big family outing and all went down to the herbivore store so that i could sign cookbooks.  we were sad to say goodbye to my mom and dad on monday. they were such a huge help while i was recovering from surgery. and i know that milo misses getting hugs and kisses from his grandmom and granddad.  we are getting a lot better with the sleeping thing. it's not so much that milo is sleeping more hours, but that matt and i are figuring out how to nap most effectively, how to keep him awake more hours of the day so he sleeps more at night, how to use nursing to knock him out, and how to trade off baby duty so that we're both getting more rest and still getting work and chores and errands done.
